So I have a lot of great beliefs but until I took the pictures of me in spandex I thought I wasn't all that overweight!! Sometimes I am too confident and forget that I need a reality check - I am not eating right and I am not excersizing - so why do I think I am doing good! Have I completely talked my self into being okay with being overweight, inactive and comfortable? Totally time for a reality check! Stop being okay and get moving!!!

This is my motto: "Fat will come and go but how we treat ourselves will last forever!!" I treat myself too good - time for some real important decisions! 60 minutes of cardio 6 days a week is what the doctor recommended - doesn't have to be hardcore, I just have to be active. He already thinks I eat pretty good but sometimes it is an add day junk fest. Time to get serious about my health and do the right thing and not be a hippocrate.

My Goals:
To wake up each day and feel healthy. At this point I have pains in places I didn't know you could. I want to wake up each day and just feel good. For my mental health I want to be under 200 pounds by 40th birthday. I am not sure why it just sounds realistic. With my body frame I should never weigh less than 150 pounds. My doctor wants to see me reach 175 pounds and stay.

My Program:
This has changed for me everytime I learn something new about nutrition, I tend to change things up. I changed it to jog/walking and pilates. Low carb, high veggie, protein. I started Dr. Atkins on November 25, 2006. I weighed 224 pounds. Up 4 pounds from when I started using this site. I have mild insulin resistance. Which means I produce twice to much insulin for the food I eat. If you struggle at loosing weight it is worth the long blood test to see. Which I think everyone who is overweight should get tested for. The dietian is a nice friend to have. I truly never want to have diabetes.

Personal Information:
My name is Sharon. I have been married for 23+ years and have 4 children. Katy 22, Devin 19, Josie 17, and Trevor 15. I enjoy being a mom and I find that I know a little about a lot of things. I don't really have hobbies unless you count my obsession with my weight. We have two dogs Buddy and Fasa.

Other Information:
Good books to look at are: the Calorie King and Willing by loosing by Jillian Williams and South Beach Diet. Jillian is a smart cookie. The Calorie king helps you when dining out. Then I read scream free parenting and Forgotten fundamentals. Inspirations is another good book.
