I have spent the day trying to catch up and shift through the multiple emails I have let slide by. I woke up a few days ago with floaties in my left eye. Went to see the Doctor she sent me to the ER - they took me in and called a specialist to do laser surgery. My retina was detaching. Ouch could have been bad news. I just keep hitting blocks that seem to slow my process down. I am on low maintenance now (no computer, no bright lights, no TV, no reading). What's a girl to do? That's not going to happen. I put the laptop on dimmer - turned out the lights and here I sit with one eye trying to get things done. Wish me luck! 3328 days ago

Not getting up again is definitely not an option! But, I don't think there's a finish line out there (until I'm ready to cash in my chips at the end of my time...LOL), as life is a journey that just keeps on keeping on...not saying this very well, but I think we can plan on making this journey for a long time. First you learn how to shed the pounds, then you keep on working on shedding them (I don't talk about "losing" them as I'm always afraid I'll find them again) until you reach a goal weight. I've heard from some of those people who have lost hundreds of pounds that there is more work to be done then in learning how to keep those pesky pounds off. I'm looking forward to that challenge!! So glad to have you as a new SparkFriend! Love the snowy pictures you have on your page!! Hugs and love, Jeannie 3328 days ago

Falling down and not getting up is giving up, falling down and getting back up is trying. I have fallen so many times, but I keep getting up. There has to be a finish line sometime. 3870 days ago
