Going for HEALTHY


Time for an update! Over a year ago, I started with a personal trainer and decided to go to a fully plant-based (vegan) diet (best decision ever!). I have lost 62 pounds so far (going from obese to *almost* normal weight - size 18 to size 4)...The strength training has made such a huge difference. I realized today that, at 51, I have never felt stronger and healthier than I do right now (and that even includes when I was on the HS gymnastics team and working out 6 days a week!). I have lost 62 pounds so far (going from obese to *almost* normal weight - size 18 to size 4)...The strength training has made such a huge difference. I realized today that, at 51, I have never felt stronger and healthier than I do right now (and that even includes when I was on the HS gymnastics team and working out 6 days a week!). It is truly a new lifestyle, and the process of strength/cardio training does wonders to reduce stress and anxiety. And, instead of wishing for a past version of myself, I know now that my best body is always just ahead!

    Did you get mant trick or treaters? :) We only had a few... we live in the middle of nowhere haha! Things with me are going well, thanks for asking. My little one stayed over at his great grandmother after trick or treating. My boyfriend and I were able to go out and enjoy ourselves. Unfortunately for the past few days I haven't been watching what I'm eating... but back to the grind tomorrow! haha!
