You go girl! You have done very well. You are SO close to where you left off....um -- how many years ago when we reached our "goal" - at that time anyway, lol -- before we both gained!! lol Anyway, this time around it's like I have this mindset, a new and practical attitude of "well, just do it". I should be a Nike commercial. lol
I would love to weigh in the 140's ultimately too. Could I ever get back to how I was when I was in my teens? Ooooh the bod I used to have. I keep thinking it is possible. Just keep thinking of that reward we will get if we don't give up!

    Hey Lori
Thanksgiving is a great goal date to work towards....my first "goal date" however is the end of Sept. I am going to be down another 10 pounds by then OR ELSE! At least I have gotten the ball rolling, rather than coming on here to make up excuses for myself again. You know what the say about excuses.....ha ha I feel so much better with the loss I've had, and only want to feel even better!!

    Hey Lori
I just got back on here to commit myself to this weight loss. I figured having a place to go to read inspirational, movitational and helpful information was something worth investing my time into.
So....I have a new goal of a pound a week until my birthday, which is my first goal of 165. Then from there I will lose another 15 pounds to my ultimate goal of 150. I have FINALLY gotten the motivation to do this, plus the determination. It's on my mind constantly, like it was back when I first got onto the BLC and we had our family competition. Next week starts my exercise program - I always feel like I have to put that off but this week I HAD to catch up from our Hawaii trip. So......here I go. I even think my heel is better so doing a bit of arobics or something is possible!!!! Zoooooooooommmmmmmmmmm!

    Hey girlfriend,
I read your last post to me a couple of days ago, but just got a chance to come on here to reply. I haven't been on here forever! I TOTALLY understand where you're coming from. Right now the best I am doing is maintaining. *sigh*.......where has the drive gone? In my head and heart I WANT to, but with my heel working against me, I find myself getting frustrated due to not being able to work out like I want to. Gilad will only do so much for me, and the more I'm on my foot, the more my heel will flare up. For several days now I've been off it, and it's feeling pretty decent. So in the meantime, am I keeping really good track of my calories? NO........I'm not pigging out by any means, but I'm not keeping totals like I should be. Life should get back to normal next week, so I'm going to tell myself I WILL get back to some sort of routine and keep track of the calories. That's all I can do for now - and even if I'm not burning a ton of calories with Gilad, I am at least toning. That counts, right? Grrrrrr.......hopefully by spring I'll be good as new and can get out there and WALK! And I want to start jogging some again too! Grrrrr.....stupid heel!

Just stopping by to say Hi Spark Buddy! I forgot to tell you I have a chihuahua too! Sammy is his name...I think he's three now...you can tell I have too many ages to remember between two dogs and two kids. Do you live on a farm? I live in a neighborhood that used to be my parents' dairy farm. We used to produce milk for Knudsen out here in CA. We had about 250 milk cows and a total herd of about 400+. Dad sold his cows about 20 yrs. ago and then developed the land about 14 years ago. It's funny living in a house that used to be part of our farm! Well hope SP is going well for you. Stop by sometime! emoticon
