I'm 75. another years has gone by, so now I am 75,and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on oxygen at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a farmers wife and engaged in as much of the farm as I can, and understand. We do have some livestock, sheep, 8 miniatures horses, and goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.

I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

It’s not precisely weight loss for me, or any stupid effort to appear younger but those deeply etched lines and other saggy stuff that makes me wonder. It is a natural process snd regulating my food does help me to feel well.

I found that pretty snow globe on Amazon, and I just may tell husband he's getting me one for Christmas. emoticon

Right now it's a bit confusing because there are so many balls in the air at one time. I hope to hear back from our financial adviser today or tomorrow; there are some things we don't know what would be the better choice. Except for smaller bequests to the three grandchildren, everything is halved between me and my sister, so yes, the plan is to buy out her half and keep the condo. She and her husband aren't at all interested in it, but we think it's a great layout in a prime location for us to retire in eventually. We're looking forward to divvying up the stuff; all of us will have things that remind us of my mom.

Yeah, it can be nice to have a place like this to be only as sane as we need to be.
