Ah, I wouldn't know what to do without my boys. My oldest (the Jack Russell) grew up with my childhood labrador (also adopted) and missed him terribly when he passed three years ago. Enter Jude. Now they're best buddies. All of my rescue-kids have brought me such happiness, helped me through the sad times, celebrated the good times and cuddled those lonely nights away. Thanks for the comment! Keep in touch.

Hello! Thanks for your comments...I totally know where you're coming from...I'm not sure there is anything wrong with one or two wines a night...for me, my drinking had got out of control; drinking a bottle of wine in an evening when I was just hanging out at home. I knew I wasn't an alcoholic because I've never felt "compelled" to drink and I've given up completely several times in the past without any symptoms or desire to drink...the thing for me recently was realising that drinking wine had become an everyday habit I was doing without even thinking...first thing I did when I got home was reach for a bottle of wine and have a drink. Now I've reached my goal of not drinking at all for some time, I've realised how much better I feel, how easy the weight is coming off, and how much better everyone says I look...so, all that to simply say; I personally don't think there's anything wrong with having a drink if you feel like it, but if you're starting to wonder about your drinking, maybe give it up for awhile and see how you feel...you might be surprised by the fact you no longer want to drink! I'm having a much better time out with friends now I'm not getting drunk. And of course, feeling loads better in my morning exercise sessions! One thing though; giving up alcohol can be really tough for some people...being addicted isn't about the amount you drink, but what it does to your brain and body...so if you have any concerns at all about giving up, talk to your doctor first as you may need to come off gradually, especially if your liver function has been compromised...keep in touch...be great to hear how you go...:)

No, I have not tried to contact you. Maybe there is some glitch in the SparkPeople site? I would email whatever notification you got to the support team and maybe they can fix the problem.
