Introduction Text August 4, 2014 And we moved again! This time back to our true homes - the Midwest. We now live outside Appleton, Wisconsin and are looking forward to four seasons. March 12, 2012 An update! Although my screen name implies that I live in Brazil, I am now living in South Carolina. I considered changing it but it makes me happy to think about that amazing time in my life. March 25, 2011 When I started on this site, I had just reached goal weight more or less. What I have discovered here is that for me it's not the losing, it's the maintaining. With the help of all my friends on Spark People I am changing my life not for a few months but forever. Thank you and yay for us all!

I am looking to break my cycle of losing 20 pounds and then allowing it to creep back on.



When I discovered Spark People I was living in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I was thrilled to find this site for so many reasons. I got to know people from all over the world. I also met Brazillians (honorary and native) who answered questions, gave me insight, and made living in Sao Paulo less stressful. I am originally from the midwest but now live in South Carolina.
