Introduction Text I'm a 49 year old Mother of 3 grown children who is finally ready to get serious about getting this excess weight off! At 5'3" and 197 pounds AND having Multiple Sclerosis - this has to change. Now. My coworker and I have decided to get healthy together and will be weighing in weekly and cheering each other on. Here's to success!!!

To get to a healthy BMI. That means I need to weigh 140 pounds which equals loosing 54 pounds as of 1/23/17. Realistically I'm not sure I can get that low (haven't been there since college) but it's my long term goal. To get there I'm breaking it down into "getting back into the '80s, getting back into the '70's etc..." One step at a time. :) BMI Jan. 23, 2017 = 34.4 (Obese)

For my food program I'm using the Sparkpeople tracker to be sure I'm getting enough of the RIGHT calories daily with Isagenix being my nutrition and the healthiest whole foods possible for the rest of my day.

I work full-time as a Career Specialist (guidance) in a middle school and also stay active as a vocalist both at church and in the community. My husband is a high school teacher and coach. We have three grown children who are "out of the nest" and a full nest of fur babies (3 doxies, 1 crazy mutt and 1 lab ). Thankfully they all enjoy being outside even though the doxies are primarily indoors.
