Introduction Text Hello, I am Kelly don't let my user name fool you- (the user name I wanted was already being used). I actually joined in 2009. I think I checked in once and stopped, at the time I was going to the gym and so I thought I didn't really need the spark team. Then I stopped going to the gym, then there was buying the house, and remodeling it (which I'm still doing). But one day I was hiking on my brothers property and I had a hypoglycemic reaction and almost lost conscience. Luckily I realized something was wrong and told my companions, one of whom went for help. I was a little scared and surprised. I'm not diabetic, my Father had type 1, so I would get tested and checked every once in awhile. I also saw my Dad have diabetic comas and horrible reactions due to having too much insulin causing low blood sugar. Eventually he passed away (at age 41). So I realize I really need to make some changes and I really need help. That's my story and why I am here, I look forward to meeting you. ~Kelly

My Long Term Goal: is to lose 103 lbs. My Medium Term Goal: is to hike 10 miles. My Short Term Goal: is to learn my new eating habits.

I have been using the Nutrition Tracker to try and learn new eating habits. I have also been walking to work towards my goal to hike 10 miles. All of these are going to help me to get to my long term weight goal.

I am a KY girl, and love my home!
