Introduction Text I'm Laura and I'm 23 years old. I've been overweight since I was a teen. I played basketball in high school but stopped after sophomore year and gained about 10 lbs. Then I went away to college and gained some more. I came home spring break of sophomore year and I was shocked to see I weighed 202 lbs! I got down to 192 before joining Spark in the summer of 2007. By February 2008, I was down to 164. I then spent a semester abroad in Australia where I let my good habits slip. When I got back, I also started eating out a lot with my boyfriend and gained back even more. However, I'm determined to reach my goal weight this time around, especially since I am getting married in August!

My long term goal is to be healthy and happy with how I look instead of being constantly self conscious. I hope to reach my goal weight of 155 pounds by my wedding in August.

Staying within my calorie range (1300-1650) while making sure I get enough protein, fiber, fruits, and veggies. Cardio 3-5x a week Strength 3x a week Burn at least 1500 calories a week.

I basically plan my life around music. I would go to a show everyday if I could (and sometimes I do). My favorite bands are Wilco, Ryan Adams, Matt Nathanson, Stephen Kellogg, Fiona Apple, Andrew Bird, Charlotte Martin, No Doubt, and the list goes on and on...
