It's time to stop messing about with the weight loss journey!!!!

I keep falling off the wagon, but I refuse to give up. Over the last 10 years or so I've managed to lose and keep off about 10 pounds. A shame that I also lost a lot more - probably a hundred pounds at least between yo-yo bounces, which I regained.

I eat and drink too much and I need to stop that. I also need to work on quality - more nutrients, less junk. Today is a new day, fresh start. I have to do this! I can do this! I will do this!

update: jan 2019. I have spent the last month NOT eating and drinking too much. And the scale is starting to show the results. Almost at my lowest weight for the last year or 2!

update: jun 2019. I have spent the last 3 months eating and drinking too much and the scale and clothes definitely show the results. Reached one of my highest weights ever in May! but back on track again now.

update: may 2020. Once again back on track after a lengthy spell gaining weight. I realised this weekend that although I track food everyday when I'm in weight loss mindset... Some of my tracking has been inaccurate (underestimating calories every day from milk in coffee). Addressing this now and hoping to see results more reflective of the effort I make. covid lockdown has given me the time, energy and motivation to set some very definite targets and rewards, and I've made some healthy lifestyle changes. I hope THIS time everything falls into place and I finally see what I want on the measuring tape and weighing scale. fingers x'd. If I work hard 2020 could be "my" year.

get into jeans I've not worn since teens If I can't get into them when i'm at my target weight/waist size then I will throw them away.


My Program:
I'll just keep trying. !!!!

I'm going to try and shift towards more natural and less processed foods. and better quality.. free range meat rather than factory farmed meat.

To stick within my calorie range MORE OFTEN and do some cardio at least a few times a week to burn a few more calories.

I need to add resistance training, 10 mins a week minimum to start with.

Weight loss aim - to lose 1 to 1.5 pounds a week

I NEED TO BE MORE DISCIPLINED!!!!!. update: I am not being very successful at this. I really need to figure out how to stick to my plan. I lose weight when I'm sticking to it, so it works. I need to discover if something triggers me to come off it, and if so, find a coping strategy, or if I just need to fight harder to stick with it.

Will track everyday. !!!!!
