Hey. I'm Jacey. I'm 25. I live in Cali, born and raised. My husband is in the US Marine Corps. We've been married for 6 years and I love him with all my heart! I'm a dental assistant, but I hope to start hygiene school soon.

So I have a goal.. and honestly my goal is not just a number, it defines our future. My husband and I feel we are ready for a family. I don't want to bring a child into the world without living a healthy life first. I grew up in an unhealthy house and I have struggled with it my entire life. I don't want to put that on the shoulders of our child. Our goal is to try for a baby at the end of this year. I have a ways to go but I truly believe with the help from my husband and my wonderful friends (including you guys!!) I can reach my goal.

I want to be a healthy person. A healthy wife, and ultimately a healthy mom. I want to go on hikes and bike rides and runs with my husband, and I want to be able to stay up with him! He being a Marine keeps him in superrrr awesome physical shape and sometimes it's hard mentally and emotionally as well as physically for me to get through life.

For the longest time I have set huge goals, like "I want to lose 50lbs in 6 months." For some, that might be a target easily reached, but for me..it hasn't been that easy. I have decided to shorten my goals. You'll see that on my tracker :)

My motivation =)
a) My husband and the possibility of conceiving a baby :)
b) They way my body feels and looks when I eat healthy and workout
c)The confidence I gain seeing the scale drop even a few lbs.
d) Knowing that at 25 I'm in control of my body and life.
e) My sparkpeople friends :)
f) Fun and cute workout clothes!


I workout at the gym about 4 days a week and I also play tennis with my roommate a few times a week as well. I am eating healthier and I LOVE running. Squats, lunges, leg lifts. Oh! And I love love LOVE walking my lil Layla on nice, warm, sunny days!

I really want to get into eating clean and raw. I really believe you are what you put into your body in a sense of how your skin and hair look and how you feel everyday.

I have been back and forth with Sparkpeople, but I am really ready to become a healthy person.

I would really love to get back to what I weighed when I married my husband.

I have this pair of "high school" jeans from AE that have been hanging in my closet since 2004. I'm still hoping to get back into those!


My Program:
I have realized we can do anything with the power of prayer and believing in God.

He is my Savior and my MAIN motivation. I can't do anything without Him.



Personal Information:
I would LOVE to meet new friends in the area!!


Other Information:
I loveee reading, walking my puppy, PINK, cleaning on a sunny afternoon, getting up for early runs, and much MUCH more. Just ask :)

    4 days in a row! That's great. I haven't run since Saturday. I hope to get 45 minutes in tonight. How long do you run for/mileage? Keep up the great work!

    HI there. Thanks for the comment! My hubby and I are stationed in 29 Palms, weve been here almost 4 years now. But im originally from connecticut and i miss the east coast so much! Ive been battling with my weight for a while now, but i had never been over 200lbs until i got pregnant with my son and i gained almost 100 lbs and i wasnt skinny to begin with! For the last 2 years i have been tryin to get this baby weight off but ill do good for a while and then gain a bunch back (i went from 240-199 from when i had my son in Nov of 04 to April 05 when my husband got back from Iraq) then i shot back up to 220 something now im workin my butt off (aside from the little bit of slacking ive been doin the last few weeks!) to get down under 200! sorry this is gettin so long lol hope your havin a good day!
