Hello and welcome to my page. I am not new to spark, joined in 2008. Started my page over due to computer issues.
I lost 70 pounds with the help of sparkpeople. Have kept it off so far, happy for that.
First I started by reading the helpful spark articles and success stories of other sparkers. Also loved spinning the wheel, silly, but it kept me logging in each day. I don't think I could ever have done this without spark and now with the support of all my sweet spark buddies, who keep me moving everyday. Encouraging me to do more than I ever thought I could. Hiking again, riding my bike. I used my elliptical in the beginning, was easy on my knees (have a bit of arthritis). Also love taking pictures of my hikes, usually have a camera wherever I go. I also had to change my way of eating (was a big struggle for me too). I use to be able to eat whatever, changed as I got older.LO. I am a stress eater important for me to try and stay calm. I usually go for long walks if I am too stressed, or work in the garden, love being outside all day. I eat my fruits and veggies now, never really did that before, sure wish I did, cuz I sure feel good now.
I hope to be able to maintain my weight loss. So I continue to spin the wheel and log my fitness, sometimes my food. Weight loss is a life style change it really is, so no going back to my old ways.

My Goals:
Goals for 2017:
I need to work on strength training, still my weakness!! I use weights and do various arm exercises. I use a 7 pound weight now. I also use the stretchy bands. Sometimes I use my sons punching bag, but he just laughs when I do that. I want to do one pull up, I use to be able to do those before I had frozen shoulder. keep working on stretching and toning. Of course keep my weight where it is.
Continue, my morning walks, love those and happy when I see a great sunrise.

My Program:
Eating a healthy diet of fruits and veggies, no junk foods.
Must have breakfast everyday, never skip meals.
Exercise most everyday. Love early morning walks, also bike ride, hike. Still use my elliptical when I can't go outside and have a stationary bike, always change my routine from time to time so I don't get bored.
Hope to continue working in my garden, brings me peace. I should say, that I hope to find a new home to garden once again, my passion. I miss it so much!!
Love taking pictures of the beauty around me, got the bug from some of my spark buddies.
Great sunrises and sunsets make my day.

    Going thought and sharing some of my favorites to get my flame on high again

    its snowed here most of the day but its the rain snow mix so not bad unless freezes . the party was fun they just left. so have a little kitchen clean up to do while I watch a little basketball. and might have to start taking the tree down but it always makes me sad.. hope the weather improves soon Racey is getting cabin fever.
