My story is;

I am 28 years old and happily married with two beautiful children (8 yr old daughter and 5 yr old son). I am currently in school taking the Second year of Social Work Diploma program and live in Northern Alberta, Canada...

What brings me here is because;

1. I gained 68lbs when I was pregnant with my daughter and lost most of my baby weight and then I became pregnant with son and gained 30lbs from him. After having my son I lost all my baby weight from both children when I did the turbo jam series.

2. I quit smoking 3 and 1/2 yrs ago and gained about 60lbs. Again I lost about 20lbs with turbo jam again, but I got bored of it... so I stopped and regained it... NO ONE told me that when you quit a habit you replace it and the replacement of smoking was chips and ice cream. I cannot seem to say no to it and I still have the same problem...

3. I started a couple of new programs in december 2010 which were; slim in 6 and slim series and Hip Hop Abs... I did them faithfully up to march and gave up because my body was getting use to the workouts... I lost about 25lbs doing that and now I have gained 15lbs of that back...

4. I am tired of what I look like... I miss being skinny, fit, etc., for myself and for my husband... He says I am beautiful, but I feel gross... And this brings me here...

I look forward into meeting new people along this life changing journey!

I am 29 years old now :o( and I have lost 37lbs since I started Sparkpeople whoop whoop and 18 more to go!!!! I am EXTREMELY happy!!! Everyting in life is working out, I have more confidence in myself, I have a healthier marriage, healthier relationship with my children, almost done school and ready to get in the working field ASAP What more can a girl ask for?

~20 pounds loss- New Shoes
(15pounds lost and just orderd a pair of new runners, 5 more pounds to loose here comes new stiletos or boots... Havent decided yet)

~30 pounds loss- New Langerie

~40 pounds loss- New Bathing Suit
and

~50 pounds loss- New wardrobe!!!

~Shred-It with Weights

~No More Trouble Zones

I am a reader, well until I started my Social Work ed. and now I have come to hate reading LOL...

    Thanks for the add friend. You look great and your pictures are very inspiring. I'm half-way through the 30DS right now. I did it once at the beginning of last year... since then I had mostly just been doing an occasional work-out from it. I love Jillian though. I'm also curious about this Turbo Fire that you've done... I've never heard of it before but your results are amazing.

    Just started the 30 day shred today for the second time and I love it!! Anyways went on the spark team page for 30 day shred and noticed your advice to look at your before and after pics. WOW great job and you so motivated me ! emoticon Then I noticed you are from Alberta yay so am I ! I added you as a spark friend , hope we can help eachother along on our journeys!

    Did you notice an increase in your hunger with Turbo Fire? I'm STARVING all the time! This just started like at the end of the first week. I finish week 2 tomorrow!!! I wonder if it's Turbo Fire or something else going on.

    I love this work out! It's so fun and motivating!! But I'm so hungry! I'm wondering if I need to up my calories.

    We finished week 1 of Tubro Fire last night! Whew! Intense! Tonight is Fire 45. Should be thoroughly exhausting. I am excited to see the progress in my cardio conditioning.

    Did you only do Turbo Fire for the 12 weeks? Or did you do extra work outs as well? I'm worried that just Turbo Fire isn't enough for me, as sometimes the classes are only 20-30 minutes!
