I lost 60lb with spark in 2008, regained most of it again 2009. Although I did not reach my all time high of around 30stones, I did hit 25st 3lb in January of this year.

It has taken me a long time to get back on track, although I did lose, 9lb from January to July 14. Which was better and in the right direction than to continue to gain weight.

So I started this time at 343.2lb which is roughly 24st 7lb.

I have injured my hip after falling down the stairs in December and it looks like Imay need a replacement hip, if that is not motivation to lose as much as possible what is. i always said that if the weight impacted on my health I would diet. So here we are folks upto date.

Ability to weigh myself on our own bathroom scales that we have owned for about 4 years and I have never been able to use. DONE........

I have not been this weight since my youngest child was born in September 1981 so that will 27 years in September and this also marks over


My Program:
Learning to make healthy food choices.

Not coping a strop when and giving up if I make a bad choice.

Eating no more than 1600 but no less than 1180 calories per day.

Taking nutritional suppliments in an effort to cut down on cravings.

Welcome each new day as a clean slate.

Walk more, move more, eventually exercise everyday, but building up to it slowly.

Living in Leeds, but coming from Preston.

I have been obese all my life. There was a breif period in my teens when I was a regular weight. I went from 119lbs to 233lb during my first pregnancy after which I only lost 28lbs and have never been below that since and we are talking 33 years.

I am married and have 3 grown up children to a previous relationship and from my 2 eldest I have 9 fantastic grandchildren whom I adore. We have 5 cats at the moment but 2 of those are only two weeks old and will eventually be going to new families.

My most favourite thing is my car. I have a silver Mitsubishi Colt CZC2 which is a cabriolet and is only 3 months old and fantastic.

I am the youngest of a large family.

I am no longer in employment due to ill health. This is why I am going to take exercise very gently and slowly gradually building up to a full exercise regime.



Other Information:
I Suffer from:
Diabetes II
Fibromyalgia / CFS
Asthma
Sjorgrens Syndrome

All of which affect the way I can exercise but I am really hoping that by reducing my weight drastically it will have a knock on affect on my health.
