•Runaway Jim 5K at Superball Phish Festival on 7.2.11
**Completed! 51:03 It was a sweltering hot 90 degrees on the Watkins Glen Speedway but I made it! **

•Complete the Memphis Soul 5K BBQ Run on August 28, 2011 in under 40:00! **Rescheduled for 10/16/11 due to Hurricane Irene.

•Register for a 10K race in the spring. Would like to start thinking about getting serious about my racing times by this point. NOT JUST COMPLETE BUT COMPETE! (for a decent race time-not going for the win but a respectable placing somewhere in the middle instead of way at the end)

•Eventual racing goals: 5K under 30 minutes; 10K under 60 minutes

•To learn and stick to healthy habits and lifestyle.

•To be able to fit into a cute pair of leather riding boots for fall.

•Run or be active regularly.

•Be at a healthy weight before I become a mom.

•Get certified as a personal trainer & nutritionist!

Keeping a daily food log.

Variety of activities: mostly running, elliptical and arc trainer, swimming with rotating strength training during the week with a few fun videos and/or classes to mix it up and keep it fun!!

Personal Information:
From Derry NH but live in Everett, MA.

HUGE music phan mostly jambands, bluegrass, reggae and classic rock but I love just about everything. I've been to 30 Phish shows and counting among the hundreds of live shows I've seen over the years...I basically work for tour!
I love the outdoors, art, cooking and anything else that's creative.

I've been married for 5 years, we've been together for 12 and we are planning on starting a family in the next 3 years or so and my goal is to be as healthy as I can be for my babies!

Other Information:
Everyday I am learning something new about myself on this journey. SparkPeople has changed my life for the better in so many ways! Weight loss was just the tip of the iceberg and I'm not even at my goal yet. I am beyond grateful for finding this community and find so much joy in my life now. The beauty of it was that it was already there, I just needed a positive attitude adjustment to be able to really see it! I am excited for what tomorrow will be, but happy with what I have today...
