I'm working on a developing a healthy lifestyle. I still need to lose 10 pounds or more and tone up.

I suffered from stress, burnout, and depression while hubby was in Iraq and really packed on the pounds. I got up to 129 pounds as my highest weight.

We went on a Carribean Cruise over a year ago. It was one of those last minute deals that I had to prepare for in 2 weeks flat. I went on the Atkins low carb diet and lost 5 pounds like that. I'm still "trying" to maintain a low carb lifestyle.

Updated 6/3/07 ~ I finally reached my goal of 104 pounds. It has been a very rocky road and I didn't meet my treadmill or strength training goals at all, it was definitely hit and miss. Plus, I totally quit doing yoga, the only thing that saved me was the sauna and watching my carb intake. My thighs are still fatter than I would like so I plan to continue watching the carbs and keeping them low and really kick up the lower body strength training and treadmill, and of course, the sauna ;)...

Fitness Minutes: 0

My Goals:
1) Treadmill - 45 minutes at 5% incline, 15 min/mine. 6 days per week.

2) Strength exercises upper/lower body. 6 days per week.

3) Yoga stretches/ postures (not the meditating stuff, I'm a Christian). 5 days per week.

4) Eat at least 1200 calories per day, stay within my range. (I've been averaging only 1000 calories per day, which now I've learned can put you in starvation mode).

5) Burn more calories that I take in each day. (Thanks to our infrared sauna this is actually doable :).
