Easter Eve - Wow did I fall off the wagon! I'm back on but I had gotten so overwhelmed... still am. I'm picking one or two goals at a time to work on. I'm going to the gym 3x a week - have been for 2 weeks now. Not quite a habit, but that's my frog. (Eat That Frog - Great book!) Hi to all of you! I miss you all. Thanks for all the little hellos on my SparkPage. I haven't even tackled the discussion boards or my mail. I don't mean to ignore you. I hope everyone has a blessed Resurrection Sunday. Jan 4, '08 I'm stll motivated. Some months see a little more energy on my part than others. I was a wee bit distracted most of December, but I'm ready to go forward again. I'm re-reading Body Clutter by Marla Cilley & Leanne Ely. We are discussing the book in a team - Body Clutter Book Discussion. Anyway, drop on in if you would like to investigate the hows and whys of your Body Clutter issues. The book is amazingly honest and causes much introspection. I am posting the questions so if you don't have access to the book you can still glean some information. Happy New Year!!!!

My name is Jenny. I am 37 years old. I have a wonderful husband of 10 years. I have a 4 year old son and 4 foster children.
I am turning a new page. I am tired all the time. So I never feel like exercising. Plus I don't like to sweat and I hate running. Excuses excuses. I eat when I get stressed or bored. I am very much into the instant-gratification-thing rather than save-now-for-a-rainy-day later.
I have been overweight most of my life, and "obese" the past several years. I cringe just even writing that word, but it's time I own up. There's just too much at stake. It's time I start obeying God in this.
I have been so afraid to take the leap to lose weight. I think part of it is the fear of failure. My grandma used to collect little "diamonds" from Weight Watchers. After so many pounds lost she would earn another rhinestone to put in her badge or bracelet. But she gained even more than she ever lost. I'm afraid that once I start to lose weight I will yo-yo. So if I just don't do anything, I won't gain. I have maintained the same un-healthy weight for the past 4 years. It's time I got healthy!
