Introduction Text Hi! My weight struggle has been my constant companion throughout my life. I have so much to say about it that I don't even know where to start, so I'll just tell you where I am now, and share the story of how I got here through blogs over time. My Christian faith is an very large part of who I am. I believe my weight problem is more than a simple food and exercise problem. I am strongly convicted that FOR ME it is a sin issue. I know that my physical condition is NOT what God desires for me. I know that He has called me to be healthy, and I know exactly what I need to do to be healthy, yet I CHOOSE not to do it. I love to eat and hate to exercise, and I continually give in to the desires of my flesh rather than doing what I know is right. That is nothing but pure rebellion! I'm usually able to get the whole eating thing under control for a few months at a time and drop a few pounds, but the exercise is another story. I started working with a trainer a 3 months ago and that has helped a GREAT DEAL! However, my eating has been so horrible I've been working my butt of with little results. I'm determined to get both ends working at the same time so I can experience some real change!

I have lots of goals, but the big idea is to develop a habit of eating healthy and exercising regularly. My first short term goal is getting out of the 300s once and for all! I want to reach that goal by Nov. 1 Next to weigh less than I did when my first child was born 20 years ago... 279 Then I want to hit my lowest weight since 1995... 253 Then it's off to ONEderland... 199 Then it's what I weighed when I got married... 180 Then it's my ultimate goal... 160!!

Common sense eating! No junk and reasonable portions. No eating after 7pm except for some light popcorn Drink LOTS of water! Follow the exercise plan I get from my wonderful trainer, Megan
