I have been married to a wonderful man for 26 years and was a stay at home mom for most of those years while raising our six daughters. I wouldn't trade that time for anything but now it's me time. I have allowed my body to get out of control and it's time to reclaim a healthy life. I want to be active and enjoy time alone with my husband once all the girls are on their own instead of dealing with all the hinderances that come along with being over weight. It 's time to stop avoiding mirrors and not doing things because I am embarrassed over the way I look. I want to be happy to be around others and not worry about my appearance.

Fitness Minutes: 709

My Goals:
1. To change my lifestyle to become healthy and happy with myself.
2. To want to have my picture taken.

My Program:
Baby Steps
1. Make gradual changes that will become a lifestyle.
2. Track my progress, for good or bad, and be honest with myself.
3. Drink water instead of living on soda.
4. Be conscious of what I put in my mouth and why so I can change bad eating habits.
5. Move a little each day no matter how many excuses I can think of not to.

Once these are a part of my daily routine without having to struggle with it I will step it up with more focus on cardio and strength training. In the past I have tried to make too many changes at a time and they didn't stick.

Personal Information:
I live in VA with my wonderful husband of 26 years. We are a homeschooling military family with 6 daughters between the age of 16 and 23.
