One Step at a Time. . . .
Everyday is a new beginning. I am trying to learn that I don't have to wait for tomorrow to begin again but as soon as I fall , I can get up and start over. I still maintain this thought and I can always start over.

My Goals:
To lose 25 lbs although I have about 55 I should lose. I am trying for the 25 first - it doesn't sound like a huge hurdle but it feels like it. I am trying to remember to ask for God's help when the food temptations occur as well as exercising which is a challenge with my phyical difficulties. But I am determied to remain determined to accomplish my goal within this year! Well good thought while it lasted. I do enough exercise that would bobble your mind, lifting and pushing and moving "stuff" just to make room to live and then there is the pool I long fro all winter. But I manage to stay at a regular weight although I did loose 10 lbs during my bout with vertigo - now time to face the scales again.
My Program:
my programwent down the tubes years ago but I still practice moderation and as I get older I see I cannot eat as much as I used to - (that is a good thing) and being a lover of sweets, I am careful of what I choose and how often. I always have a water bottle handy and limit any coffee intake. I don't bake like I used to which is a good thing for me but the grands are missing all those cookies I used to bake!
Personal Information:
My name is Joyce from Mechanic Falls, Maine. I have 4 grown children and 10 grandchildren. I have four granchildren who live with m0e. I am disabled but remain as active. I love to read, write, and I am very involved in my church. I have no time with all my grandchildren & daughter in law here to breathe sometimes and other times we just shriek with laughter!
Other Information:
I love to read phiosophical, theological, informational and faith-based books. My favorite authors are Max Lucado, Ellen White, Doug Bachelor, and Gary Smalley as well as the books written by Corrie ten-Boom. And others - still reading.
