Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

- Mark Twain, American writer

I have been very active in the latter years of my life as full time caregiver for my Mom (she passed in 2005) and as a full time employee of a very active and wonderful Senior Center. Recently I experienced a loss of energy, dizzyness, difficulty breathing and periods of confusion. I was diagnosed (finally) after lots of tests with primary biliary cihrosis. This is caused by an autoimmune disorder or disorders. It is treatable and the prognosis is good.
I am undertaking a healing journey and I need support to help me quit feeding into the darkside of disability. I have developed a schedule to help me with the meds and total loss of energy spells... but am still experiencing trouble losing weight.
I see the light, but need help to row the waves:)

Hello my darling friend! I was soooo happy to hear from you and sooo heartened with your appreciated support and encouragement. You mean the world to me and though we don't talk alot it's not necessary because i always hold you soft to my heart! I know that this journey of writing Josh's story will be VERY hard...I really prefer to remember him and the GOOD times not have to chronicle the events that are so terribly painful. But we all have to face our demons at some point and I know that the time is right now to put this down on paper so that Josh can use his life as service to others.

Thank you my faithful friend I appreciate your love and support and I'm sending every healling and helpful wish that you've sent to help me...right back to you!

    Blessed be!

    Much love,

    Bobbi Anne emoticon

I am SO heartened that you are experiencing blessed movement in so many ways, both subtle and overt. I think you'll be pleased that Sue Johnson's work (her new book, Hold Me Tight, sits before me as I write) underlies all of my healing process. The other complementary thinkers are Hal and Sidra Stone, through Voice Dialogue. It's how I use SoulCollage and will offer it to team members interested in getting unblocked, unstuck. I smile at your choice of "venting" with your cards daily. I suppose I could say the same! They certainly guide me from regressed states, back to the here and now, in their trademark gentle way. Thank you for sharing, dear Linda. I'll see where this leads and stay in touch! Love, Sue

    Hello, sweet Linda,

I've been absent with too many family obligations this past year, and this afternoon has been my first opportunity to contact the SoulCollaging Sparkers with whom I developed a deep affection and respect last autumn.

So, you are one of the Sparkers I wanted to get in touch with, as part of last year's autumn SoulCollage "workshop." I'm thinking of creating ongoing, online (probably monthly) workshops for card-making and card-reading in community, ideally with an online classroom so we have live access to one another for that block of a few hours. My goal is to mirror the actual workshops I facilitate in person.

I remain committed to SoulCollage, both as an inner artist, professional healer, and human-in-progress. It's been difficult to lose creative time this past year, so my commitment to re-growing a group (if the energy is there) is simultaneously a commitment to creating that time for myself.

To provide an update, SoulCollage through the venue of SparkPeople is so exciting to the SoulCollage community, we have Seena's and her staff's support, and KaleidoSoul creator (and Sparker) Anne Marie asked to co-lead this time around. I'm not sure there's enough interest, so before I invest much more time, I'm checking with previously active SoulCollagers.

Would you please (candidly) let me know if you're interested, or if life took you in another direction, in my absence? I'd be sad to lose you, yet fully understand. If the timing serves your Soul, however, mine would smile. Unfortunately, I am unable to find our Readings team, and am in touch with SparkPeople, with prayers and fingers crossed!

    Take care.
