Must be nice that Air Force deployments are only four months long. They have it easy. haha My husband is due sometime next year if they don't extend his deployment. His tour is supposed to be fifteen months long. But, I found out the other day that after he gets to Ft. Carson, the unit he is joining up with there will already be in Iraq so, guess where he's going back to!

My husband is in the Army. He left for Iraq a week after our second daughter was born back in March.

Different posts do things differently. When we were stationed in Ft. Polk, before I could see the doctor the first time I was pregnant (the baby I lost at 12 weeks) I had to have a blood test to confirm the pregnancy. At Ft. Lewis (which is where we are stationed out of now) all I had to do was tell them I was pregnant.

Just wanted to drop by and tell you some good news I got from Iraq this morning. My husband called to tell me he is being promoted to Seargent. I am so proud of him! He has worked so hard for so many years to finally get this rank (and it does not help that his units were dinking him around about it too).

Hi hun! I am so glad we met on here. It's nice to meet new people that are going through the same things you are going through. I hope everything finds you well this holiday season. Keep in touch hun!

Welcome to the 'Lose 5lb a month' team! I am so glad you joined us.
There is an introductions thread where you can find out a bit more about your teammates and, of course, introduce yourself and we generally hang out in the 'coffee chat' so we'll see you there!
