Your "Getting On With It" blog hit dead center for me. I've been vegan for ~15 years. I have tried to go more for the basic foods, and last year I was in total agreement with what I saw in the documentary film "Forks Over Knives". However, I recently went to a nutritional class on Whole-Food Plant-Based Diet. WOW-what an eye opener. I've order several of Dr. Esselink & Dr. Colin Campbell's books. I watched the Dr. OZ show when he hosted them & a Dr. Neal Barnard. I was lucky enough to find Dr Bernard's cookbook "the get healthy, go vegan cookbook" through my local library. GOOD STUFF. I started afresh last Friday with some of the 125 easy & delicious recipies. I feel better already. Good Luck!! 3462 days ago

Thanks for the support, it was great to get such a response to my first blog!
It's funny how it took about 40 years for me to realize that feeling bad (tired, bloated, lethargic, and foggy) after a meal was NOT supposed to be a normal response to eating!!! We aren't created to eat what's on the supermarket shelves!
