I keep hearing about Spark people from friends who say it has really helped them. I'm tired, in pain, depressed, stressed and yes, overweight too. I lost about 60 pounds over several years, and have gained back around 15 and I am afraid I'll regain it all! I know all this extra weight affects every other problem I have, and vice-versa. I also know from past experience that keeping a calorie count will not work for me. The only way I've ever lost weight and kept it off is by eating healthy, only when I'm hungry, and getting daily exercise. About that exercise: I have some physical problems that prevent me partaking of most types of exercise, so I try to walk a little every day, and want to add more and more time to that walk. I can also do some stretching like gentle Yoga.

My Goals:
Get healthier. There are other goals, but that huge one is the key to all the others.

My Program:
Following my own-designed, well thought out, eating plan; to get more of all types of exercise; stress reduction by several non-invasive means. Mainly, do all the things I need to do to keep living as healthy as I can as long as I can.

Personal Information:
I moved to Los Angeles, CA from northern Arizona last September (2016) to be near my granddaughter (who gave birth to my great grandsons on July 15, 2017!!!). I never ever imagined living in this city - it was really low on my preferred places to live - but it's ok, even though I prefer a small town. I do love California (have a long history in Northern Arizona), so that's a good part of this huge life changing move.

Other Information:
I love all animals, especially dogs; I love Mother Earth and all her creatures for that matter, including myself. I read, study, learn, write, create art using markers and similar tools, and much more.

    Welcome and you jumped in before I could get here.. Come on in and have a seat take off your shoes cause your going to feel right at home.. We have a few on line now and just what you did on the wall will get answers.. Please try and blog once a week and if you throw out any pounds post it on the topic.. I just ran out of fingers and toes and thought we can just post it.. So make sure to do that.. if you need anything just ask.. We do have two Leaders missing.. Patti and Joel she is on a Mission Trip and Joel is moving.. but they will be back.. Our resident Cheerleaders are really doing well.. You got Frank and Cookie.. I am Blessed.. They are making my job easy.. I am also helping a friend with her team .. She had to go back in for Cancer.. I told her us Cancer Patients need to help so I am doing two sites and I have most of the topics so I sure would accept any Prayers.. Thank the Lord I am a little hyper.. I taught Per-K so that is where the goofiness kicks in.. Just have fun.. Looking forward to getting to know you better..
