My name is Juli. I was 35 years old when I started this journey (36 now), I'm 5'3" and my starting weight was 265 lbs and BMI 46.9. I was sick of being overweight. I had been that way my whole life and I couldn't live that way anymore. This is my 4th try with SparkPeople and I'm beyond determined to reach my goals! No more excuses. I have a metobolic muscle disease which is part of the reason I've had such a hard time losing weight in the past. So I decided I needed extra help and chose to have gastric sleeve surgery. I restarted this journey on 4/28/18 and I had the surgery on 5/8/18. I have a goal of losing 125lbs! My Goals:
I have approximately 125lbs to lose. That's almost half of me!!! I want to be comfortable in my own skin. I want to be healthy. I want to have energy to live my life every day. I want to really LIVE!


My Program:
For now I'm counting calories and trying to eat as clean as I can. I'm trying to do some type of exercise every day. And I make sure to hit my step target everyday as well. I lift weights and do some aerobic exercises. I also enjoy dancing around the house and running in place when I need to burn off some silliness. I also use a recumbent stationary bike.
