Just Me...Kelly D.
Just Me...Kelly D. That says it all.
I am a slow walker, but I never walk backwards.

Taking two steps forward
Slow and steady has not always been an inspiring concept. It's not as sexy as speed and sharp turns of direction. But it may be just the thing to keep you from running out of gas, while still moving you forward. Abe is telling us that the most important thing is to keep walking forward, no matter how slowly. Sometimes slowness can be frustrating. You might become impatient; you might get discouraged with a setback. But a setback doesn't have to set you back. Simply using it as a learning opportunity can leapfrog you ahead again. From now on, try paying attention more to your direction and less to your speed. Be patient, focus on a little bit at a time, and soon enough, you'll be further than you ever thought. Besides, it's a good bet that by always looking forward, Abe rarely looked back in regret.
THANKS, ALICE, FOR POSTING THESE WORDS AND BRINGING THEM TO MY ATTENTION!
Starting weight=195
For the past couple of years I have been gaining and losing the same 5-10 pounds. I am going to focus on eating healthy and exercising to lose the weight and keep it off!
I will no longer beat myself up when I fail at something. But I will also give it 110% instead of only half doing it on some days.
Reward System:
I believe it is better to reward than punish...therefore...I will reward myself with every 5 pounds I lose.

My Goals:
I would like to be more healthy...eat healthy, exercise on a daily basis, and look good. I would like to shed at least 50 pounds, which I feel would be a healthy weight for me. My goal is not to look like the pencil thin models, but to be happy with the way I look.
My Program:
Eat low carb which has been working for me!!!
Get at least 30 minutes of cardio Monday through Friday.
Work on "me". Do this for me not for the approval of someone else.
Personal Information:
I am happily married to a wonderful man who has always loved me...when I was small and while I am big.
I have a son who is marrieed with 2 children The oldest is a little boy named Aiden and the youngest is a girl named Payton.
Other Information:
I enjoy doing crafts...crocheting, knitting, scrapbooking, jewelry making, counted cross stitch. I also like to read, and I am involved with many activities at church. I also enjoy music. I play the piano, french horn, and flute, and I sing. Music is one of my passions! Without music what would life be like?!?!
