August 2010...Ok vacations are over and I have no plans to go anywhere anytime soon. I am ready to get going again. I have updated my goals to be realistic for me and short term. I will see results and that will get me onto my next milestone. So here we go!

Its July 2010...I was supposed to have hit my goal weight by now. We leave in 12 days for vacation. I didn't make it. I am a size 18 but I am creeping slowly back up. So I am re-committing to myself. I will hit my goal weight and my other goals. It will just take me a little longer. I am ok with that because I know this is a life-struggle and a life-style. I am dedicated and I will make it.

I have always promised myself that I would not be heavy my whole life. I have always been heavy even when I was a kid. There has just always been an event to get through.

I got married and had 2 beautiful children. I made the promise to lose weight after my son was born in 2002. It didn't happen. I made the promise to myself to lose the weight after my daughter was born. NOW I am going to do it! She is 2. And while I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight (before I became pregnant with her), I will be healthy for myself and my family. That is my vow.

I am ready to do it and succeed. One day at a time...

My Goals:
* not to embarrass my kids because I am overweight (there are other ways to do that :) )
* be sexy for my husband
* be healthy to live a long time to enjoy my family and myself
* wear a size 12 bathing suit at the next family vacation Summer 2012


My Program:
* move at least 45 - 60 minutes everyday
* watch what I eat - not restricted but less and healthier
