Introduction Text 4/6/18 Since my last post I fell out of the habit of exercising. I had a hysterectomy and it threw me off for a while. Now I am struggling to get back into healthy habits but I am taking it one day at a time. I currently weigh 168 lbs 6/26/17 I have been exercising five days a week since my last post, yet I weigh 3 lbs more (153 lbs). That's about to change. I now have a personal trainer. I am going to change the way I eat and I am participating in the Summer 5% Challenge as a Shooting Star. I am hoping to lose more than 5% but if not then it would be nice to see a loss of 8 lbs in the next two months. 5/4/17 Since my last post I lost 9 lbs and I gained 19! So now I weigh 150 lbs and my goal now is to weigh 130 lbs. I am trying out intermittent fasting but I still haven't decided what times I will eat or if I will just have a rule like nothing but fruit before dinner. I am also trying to get into the habit of going to the gym at least 3 times a week. 10/20/16 Today I weigh 140 lbs. My goal is to weigh 125 lbs. I am hoping to achieve this by Valentine's Day 2/14/17 so that gives me approximately 4 months to lose it. I think that is reasonable. I am looking for new friends and I would love to give and receive support. I know in the past that SparkPeople was a great place for this. 12/5/2015 I currently weigh 142 lbs. I changed my goal weight to 125 lbs. That means I need to lose 17 more lbs. That's doable. I hope to do that within 6 months. I aim to update my sparkpage for each season. I would like to blog at least once a week. On my weigh in date which will be on Fridays. Welcome to my page, thanks for joining me on this journey. 3/26/14 I just finished updating my spark page for the 2014 Spring 5% Challenge. I recently weighed in at 159 lb's. Hopefully by the end of the challenge I will be around 151 or lower as well as feeling healthier overall. Thank you for visiting my page. :) 12/30/14 The new year is fast approaching and I am very excited. I just know that 2014 will be a good year. I have updated my goals for the 5% Winter Challenge. Check them out under my profile. Thanks for visiting my page. 12/11/13 I couldn't handle the slimfast, not even for a week. I tried the meal plan from spark and that didn't work either. So now I am eating as healthy as I know how and aiming to fall within the caloric range suggested by SP. I am exercising a lot more, taking advantage of the videos provided by SP and also using my treadmill. I am feeling optimistic. Today is November 5th, 2013. I would like to go from my current weight of 168 to a healthy weight of 132. I am going to try to do this slow and steady. Today I bought some slim fast, I am going to follow that diet for a week or so for a kickstart. Starting yesterday I have been walking daily. I intend to increase the difficulty of my exercise as time goes on. I look forward to being an active member of the SparkPeople community. Jenny
