"Beautiful Woman Award! Once you've been given this award, you have to paste it on the wall of 8 women who deserve it. If you receive more than 3, you know you're really beautiful! If you break the chain, nothing will happen, but it's always good to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out"
I know it has been 3 weeks since I have had my baby, and many of you are still waiting for me to announce what I had. I am sorry it has taken so long. For you see, there was some complications. Both baby Tristan and Amelia were in the hospital for several days.
Due to complications from delivery, my new son had aspirated some fluid and ended up with aspiration pneumonia and ARDS. He was admitted to the NICU and was placed on c-pap until his was strong enough to breathe on his own. The plan was for Tristan to stay on Antibiotics for 14-21 days!
Due to unfortunate events on July 5th, my Amelia, Who had a kidney transplant last year, developed a fever of 41 degrees Celsius (105.8 degrees Fahrenheit). Amelia was admitted to Primary Children's hospital on the 3rd floor. Due to the stress of having just given birth 4 days ago, and now having 2 children in the hospital, I was able to have both children moved to the same hospital.
Both Amelia and Tristan are doing well. Amelia was first placed on oral antibiotics and Tristan had a PICC line, in which I gave him two IV antibiotics every 6 hours.
I have posted a longer Blog, on my sparkpage, if you are interested, plus I have uploaded some great photos of Tristan and the rest of my children.
