Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great ones make you feel that you, too, can become great.

Just wanted to stop by and say I love your puppy pics ... so cute :) I also loved the pic of the Saskatchewan prairie. Had to show my hubby, he's from Saskatoon :) Have a most wonderful day!

Sometimes SP annoys me by double-posting my comments - like it did this time, hence the edit. :)

I can think of ONE advantage - you have no bugs. :) Most bugs can't survive those temperatures. In warmer climes, there are some really disgusting creepy-crawlies, and more than a few fly-ies. :)

Hah - we swapped! You are *from* Ontario, living in Saskatchewan. I was in Saskatchewan and now live here. Small, mixed-up world! :)

    Cheers,

Heh. I did live in Saskatoon for a few years while I was doing my M.Sc. And I *loved* it. :) I've never been to Regina, but my brother and his family lived there for a couple of years between living in Saskatoon and then moving out here. :)

I still kinda miss those -40 temperatures in winter! And all that snow - sigh. I know, I'm a nut. But after growing up in India, I *loved* the winters in Saskatoon. Really missed 'em when I came to Toronto, and even more when I lived in California for a while. I'll admit I'm enjoying Toronto's winter again ... :)

    Cheers,
    Maya

Just saw your comment on the Panera Bread blog on DailySpark.com ... I don't know about Saskatchewan, but I've just recently noticed a branch of Panera in the suburbs of Toronto ...

If it does well here, I suspect it *will* spread over Canada. The way chains work. :)

In the meantime, you can just schedule a stop at the Toronto branch(es) the next time you're in Toronto ... :)

    Cheers,
    Maya
