I am my own worst enemy.

However, I am on the front lines of fighting this battle against my bad habits, emotional eating and poor choices.

As they say, I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.

I finally "get" SparkPeople, and I love the support I am receiving here. I hope I can give as good as I get.

Fitness Minutes: 328

My Goals:
I will be healthy.

I will live longer.

I will be in control of food.

And, dang it, I will look cute in jeans, and wear clothing NOT made by Ringling Brothers! :)

My Program:
I started out last week (Feb 2-7, 2010) simply tracking my food, aiming for 8 glasses of water a day, and eating more fruits and veggies.

I am going into this next week with more of a plan, since I went over my calorie intake consistently all week.

I really liked the WW "Core" program they had years ago, and may follow something similar.

I will update this as I have more solid plans.

Personal Information:
I am married (to fellow Sparkler "Starting-My-40S"), have a 20-year-old stepson, and have 3 children, ages 14, 10 and 7 at home, whom I homeschool.

I am currently a stay-at-home mom, with my most recent job (6 months ago) being as a PCA (home health care attendant) for a handicapped lady.

I am in the process of starting my own business as a Mary Kay consultant.

Other Information:
Although my SparkPage says I have been a member since January of 2008, I have only just REALLY started in February of 2010.

I didn't "get" SparkPeople when I first joined. Now I do. It's awesome!
