    The 3-Day is EXCITING to say the least! When you register it costs $90. That covers your food and lodging (tent!). You then have to raise $2300.00. It's not as hard as it sounds. When i did it i registered 8 months before the event. So i had plenty of time to send out monthly emails and letters. I had a lot of fun with it! They will send you a packet of information. EVERYTHING you will need to know about the actual event. In this booklet it gives you two different training schedules to go by. I chose the one that was longest...i wanted the extra time to train. The walks at first were hard. I weighted over 318lbs and my feet HURT every morning. BUT i kept at it. On the 1st day you actually walk about 23 miles. The second day about 22 miles and the third day about 15 miles. You meet to many wonderful people. I had a blast! I wanted to do it again in 2010 but did not raise enough funds. GO FOR IT!
