Thanks for your comment on my page!

No diet is perfect for every person. Everyone is different and responds differently to certain macro ratios (proteins, carbs, fats). I've actually updated my page because I don't always get 3 meals with a fat. I get at least 2, sometimes 3.

The important thing is to journal your food and be consistent with your plan for 3-4 weeks. Write down how your body responds to a certain level of carbs/fats, then switch things around for another 3-4 weeks. You will quickly discover how what your body likes best.

It is a myth that eating fat will make you fat. No...eating anything in excess can be stored as body fat...even protein! I love that you have added weight training to your program. I expect you will see some dramatic results now!!

    Hope this helps!!

so glad to hear that you are well! I figured after not hearing from you for a while, you were not needing Spark as much right now. Congratulations on reaching 12 weeks! That is a mile stone, and I hope your nausea diminishes a bit. (ohhh--that's so awful, I remember it all too well...blechh)--You are amazing--I'd love to be a fly on the wall and see how you run your home--I feel like a nut case most days, and always worry I've come up short on one of my children's needs. Did you come from a large family? I grew up with my sister and then my mom had 2 boys later in life that were much younger than me. I never really learned how to orchestrate a large group 24/7 (I was a school teacher, and that helped, but it's not the same) --Anyways--just curious--don't worry about writing back--I just want to wish you well! When is your due date? (I'm guessing June-ish?)

Just thinking about you-I hope all is well with your pregnancy and that you're getting at least a "little" rest!

--I'm excited about your news! I imagine you are younger than me (I'm 39), but secretly, I'd have another, too, but I'm not sure it's wise. I've had 2 miscarriages, too. Both only about 8-12 weeks, but it's still hard. I handle it by feeling that God knows I'm always willing, but perhaps it's not His will at that time. The timing has always been good in hind sight, but it doesn't make the experience any easier. I hope all goes as you would like it to go.

I was thinking during church today that being a mother is truly a sacrifice, (stretch marks, weight gain, nausea, pain of birth, sleepless nights forever, messes, endless laundry, etc.) but all that said, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I enjoy that special relationship with our Heavenly Father and know that he is so thankful for good homes to send his children to. I know we aren't perfect (in my case FAR from it!) but I know we are pretty good and he trusts us. What a precious thing that is!

Have a great week! Stop by my page any time! I love knowing that someone out there understands me and doesn't think I'm nuts for having many children.

Thanks for writing me back--strange how your 140lbs haunts you and it's my dream weight! (hee-hee) I'm hoping you're short, so I can justify being 40lbs more than you! Actually, I'm short...
Hope all is well. I'm sure your children are very fun. You probably saw on my spark page that my kids are 12, 10, 8, 4, 4, 2, and 3 months. Pretty close, but I cheated with a set of twins...(still no picnic though) although they are getting less exhausting at age 4 than the years prior. HANG IN THERE! I envy the beautiful beach near your home. How fun!
