I'm 43 years old and I'm married with no kids...I'm on my way to getting bariatric revision surgery...I've lost 45 pounds so far with SparkPeople since 10/28/16 and my new Fitbit since 12/24/16...over the holidays I gained back 12 pounds but I am already back to losing. Well, it's 1/27/17 and I still have not been medically cleared for exercise and my weight loss, or lack there of is showing...I've been bouncing back and forth between 347 and 357 since the end of December...Grrr Now, it's 2/13/17 and all the tests were sent to the doctors who...Tomorrow I will call the just to be sure they have everything needed to get the ball rolling...I surgery date will be in May most likely...I weighted in at 350 again today, I was down to 347 3/1/17 I got a phone call...I got approved for surgery...I'm 346.0 and have to lose 11 more pounds before they give me a surgery date...thanks for talking the time to read 3/29/17...I got a surgery date...May 8th...I'm so excited 4/19/17...finally hit 335...wooohooo 5/8/17...surgery day!!!...revision from RNY to Distal RNY...surgical weight 325 9/8/17...4 months post-op...weight is 290...food addiction has to be the worst addiction to have to deal with...I mean you can't completely abstain from eating...food is fuel to keep the body alive...I've only lost 35 pounds since surgery but I guess it could be worse and I could have lost zero or gained 35 pounds.

My Goals:
To be healthy and happy despite the number on the scale...my goal is 150 pounds but if I only get down to 200 pounds I will be happy with that...of course I will continue to make healthy choices.


My Program:
1200 to 1500 calories a day, 8 to 12 16.9oz bottles of flavored water a day (can't do regular water), and I'm not yet to the point of exercising but I plan to start as soon as I can.
