Thanks for commenting on my blog! You can get a Fitbit at Amazon.com or Fitbit.com. The least expensive version is a pedometer that syncs wirelessly with your phone or computer. The more expensive one counts stairs and helps you monitor your sleep patterns. I love how it automatically syncs with my SparkPeople account. Also, I have added many friends and a great challenge for me is seeing how many friends I can pass during the day. It's a great motivational tool for me.

"One of the most difficult parts of changing how you live and how you eat is believing that change is possible.
We all say we believe that, but many of us, deep down in our hearts believe that it's possible for other people, but not for us.
That other people can do it, that the glowy warm life we imagine is for other people, not for us.
We have an unconscious belief that we can't do it, it's hopeless, and so, on some level, we stop making an effort.
We lapse into the way it always was or is. But change really is possible.
And it really does take a fierce kind of longing, and a fierce kind of love for yourself.
For the life you know is possible. Ask yourself what you love most of all.
Do you love your life? And are you willing to take action on your own behalf?"

TGIF, Sparkfriend! I hope your week was a good one and that you're ready for a fit, fun and fantastically healthy weekend! Keep your goals in mind and keep taking steps towards them. Remind yourself that you are capable...and love yourself enough to know that you are worth the effort!
    Hugs,
    Pixie

Thank you for the comments on my "no shortcuts" blog! I totally understand your struggles! Keep pushing, stay consistent, and that scale will move again! I have gone weeks without the scale moving before, and I just had to keep telling myself that I am making good choices for my health, not the scale!

Thanks for the comment on my blog! I'm going to have to work really hard the rest of this week to make up for my poor choices the first 2 days!

Thanks for dropping by my "bike crash" blog. Two months later I am still in physical therapy and recovering very slowly.

    Thanks, Bruce
