Building a New Life
After starting college and now embarking on my second year, I've learned that the transition from high school to college can be harder in more than one way. College turned me completely unhealthy. I stopped participating in the sports I did in high school, starting working a full time job to pay for school and had access to an all you can eat buffet everyday.

I want to shed that extra weight and get back in shape, because not only do I not like that I've gone up in size, but I've become unhealthy and rather lazy compared to my former activity levels. I plan to build myself a new healthy lifestyle that I will keep. I am NOT dieting. I am building a new lifestyle for myself!
Now engaged to be married this June, I want to build healthy habits that will enable me to set a good example for the future family my fiance and I will have.

My Goals:
I would like to my former weight of around 130-135. More than that though, I want to build healthy eating and exercise habits that I can use the rest of my life.
I am in the frame of mind that I am NOT on a diet, but working to change my whole lifestyle to be healthier.
My Program:
First, I'm lowering my calorie intake to Sparkpeople reccomendations. I'm incorporating fruits, veggies, and more lean protein into my everyday diet. I also have cut out soda, sugary juices, etc. and am going all water.
I exercise every other day, a combination/rotation of strengthening exercises and cardio. I'm doing this in the form of pilates, dance workout dvds, and yoga.
Personal Information:
I'm from just about everywhere because I came from a military family. I love love love books and am majoring in Secondary English Education. I also work full time managing a movie theater in order to pay for school, so that always adds to my stress!
Other Information:
I'm getting married June 10th 2011 and would love to already be on my way to a healthier lifestyle!
