Introduction Text Used to exercise and eat right. Sort of lost my way since I got married and had a family. Now getting close to 50 and weighed in at 318 at my last Dr appointment. Bloodwork shows pre-diabetic. its go time!

My goal is to lose the weight and keep it off. I want to lose 100 lbb by june 2012 another 40 by 6/2013 and then 10 the year after that.May reevaluate the last 20lbs Im pretty muscular and if Im really fit once I get to 180 I might stay there.

Eat right and Bowflex! Some cardio but that will increase as the weight comes off.Now Elliptical machine! got one 8/5/11 and love it!

I live in a log cabin way off the beaten path. With my wife and 2 teenage sons.Grew up on long island,born in queens.Nearest fast food is 25 miles! Been working with developmentally disabled adults for 16 years as of 2011.Directly in a home for 15 years now in an office. Not as much fun but more regular hours and slightly better money. I dont directly affect lives the way I used to but have the ability to help more people.

Total Sci fi nerd! One of my joys in life is chopping firewood as the sole source of heat in our home. Avid tropical fish keeper! Love driving a convertible! Even in the snow!
