Fitness Minutes: 67,070

My Goals:
Being more active, getting stronger and living healthy. Cross train and add more weights. Increase my speed in 5 and 10K runs. Maintain my weight.

My Program:
 Exercise and tracking food. Learning all I can about being healthy and what my body needs. Food is "FUEL" Run, Spin or elliptical 4 times a week. Weight workouts 2 times a week. Keep water intake up and get 8 hours of sleep.


Personal Information:
Imperial Nebraska. Farmers Wife. Retired California Correctional Officer. Grandmother of 5. Hobbies: Needle crafts of all kinds. Gardening.

Other Information:
 Running and walking with "GiGi" our new older Border Collie.

    Your beautiful boots arrived just at the right time, so thank you so much for the wonderful reminder of the fun of being out, splashing about in the rain. When I was living in Darwin for seven years, we would have a straight six months without a drop of rain - that first year I heard a sprinkler watering a garden and suddenly I missed the sound of rain so much I could have cried!

    I used to be a family day care worker, caring for 5 children in my home, and even if those children were asleep when the first shower of rain arrived at the beginning of the Wet season, I'd wake them all up and we would go out and dance in the rain too! They were all as excited as I was to see that magical first downpour of rain, and to smell the beautifully clean air afterwards!

    I too used to be convinced that rain washed all the 'bad' from people, storybook monsters, villains, and so on, so surely we can't both be wrong?
