Everyone starts somewhere!
I am a mom to 2 wonderful little boys both with special needs. I am an Army Wife, and I've struggled for years with self-esteem issues and weight. I'm turning a corner and getting healthy so that I can be a present and active mom for my little guys.

My Goals:
To accept myself unconditionally and love myself through everything.
I would love to be able to run with my husband someday.
I want to model a healthy lifestyle to my children.
Ultimately I would like to weigh around 140lbs which is a healthy BMI for me. It's also a weight I haven't seen since high school so that's a huge plus!
My Program:
Walking 3 days a week.
I have begun C25K. I will walk/jog an additional 3 days a week.
I am beginning mild strength exercises. I am not interested in bulking up muscle, just keeping the ones I've got healthy!
Personal Information:
I live in Colorado Springs.
I love the mountains and in the 2.5 years that I have lived here, I have never been IN the mountains except driving through. I can't wait to actually enjoy them!
Other Information:
I love to read. I am setting a new goal to read one non-fiction book every month.
I also love to cook and enjoy new recipes and new foods!
