    Hi, Lexy! Thanks for stopping by. I love meeting others who have had spinal fusion. My back was fine until I gained weight and even though I've lost the weight, my back has never been the same. I went to see a scoliosis surgeon who suggested I keep my core strong by doing crunches. I was doing that for the longest time but my lower back is really starting to hurt now when I crunch. So, instead, I try to do a lot of yoga core poses, planks and knee raises on the power tower (that's basically just hanging while your back is supported and raising your legs so that your abs get a workout) Copy and paste this link:

    I also find that my treadmill provides me with a good workout. It's easy on my joints and it's softer to walk on than the street which is better for my feet.

    So, my exercise routine lately has been interval training on the treadmill and 30 minutes two or three times a week of strength training, stretching, balance poses and core exercise.
