I'm a wife, a mom, and a librarian. I love to read, write, crochet, sew, work on my family history, cook (including baking) and lots of other sedentary activities. But exercise, not so much. So, now it's time to get serious about making some changes. I won't give up the things I love, but maybe I can learn to love exercise a little bit more. It's time to get healthy and build a little muscle.

My Goals:
Well, I've got a lot of weight to lose ... 90 pounds.
What I really need is to start building muscle.
My Program:
Exercise!
To start I want to make it a habit to do some kind of workout for at least 15 minutes every day.
Plus a little bit of yoga every evening.
And most important I need to practice positive self-talk and evict that "Debbie Downer" from inside my head.
Personal Information:
Born and raised on Long Island in New York State. I've got pioneer roots on one side and I'm a first generation American on the other.
Other Information:
Read a good book lately? I just finished The Aeronaut's Windlass by Jim Butcher. If you like fantasy adventure with a touch of steampunk and humor and a whole lot of good writing. You might like this book, too.
