I am a retired school counselor living in KY

I have health issues that play a role in my losing weight but I am not going to let them stand in my way.

I'm a septuagenarian (70's)

I had total knee replacement in Feb. 2016 but I am climbing back little by little.





Other Information:
I'm loving my Fitbit Zip.

    For those of you celebrating Thanksgiving, let's get through the day without over doing.

    Here's a few tips to help.

    1. Drink a large glass of water before sitting down with your plate.

    2. Serve yourself on a smaller dinner plate.

    3. Eat an apple before your meal (the fiber helps to fill you up)

    4. If you find yourself eating a few too many calories then head out for an afternoon walk to burn them off !
