Current Total: 156
Final 2015 tally: 177 books

Personal Information:
I love cats and am owned by 4 of them. I also enjoy keeping fish. I have a 2400 gallon koi pond, a 125 gallon goldfish pond, and more aquariums than I am willing to admit to, ranging in size from 2.5 gallons to 140 gallons. I love to garden, in particular to grow my own vegetables. Unfortunately, I no longer have a good space for this, but do have lots of herbs.
I am now (happily) retired.
My husband and I will celebrate our 42nd anniversary in May, 2016.
Other Information:
I am a voracious reader. I love my Kindle and the public library.
My field of study at university was English literature (I have an advanced degree in medieval English literature). My first career was teaching at university, but after a few years I went over "to the dark side" and spent most of my professional life at a large, multinational computer company, principally as a planner and project manager.
I am passionate about opera and an emeritus member of the Board of Trustees of the Austin Lyric Opera.
I also serve on the Boards of Austin Shakespeare (Treasurer) and the Austin Chamber Music Center (Strategic Planning Chair).
