Hi Everyone! This is my sparkpage to detail my journey from unhealthy living to living healthy. I'm 59 year's old and at my heaviest I weighed in at 168 and had never been so heavy in all my life. Today, I'm down to 149.5 and have decided to set small goals. My ideal weight would be 140 which would get my BMI in the normal range. Right now I’m looking at 145 then on to140. My Goals:
My first goal is to set small attainable goals.

My first weight goal is to get to 145 pounds, then 140, then 135. You get the idea.

I like to start out slow, so gym twice a week, then three times getting up to a 5 times a week routine.

My Program:
To meet my weight goals:

I've got a home gym that includes a Gazelle, three medicine balls 8, 10 and 12 pounds, a stability ball and my personal favorite the Bosu Balance trainer. I have a rebounder (mini trampoline) and weights 8, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 pounds. I should have no excuse to exercise at the gym or at home.
I also bought a Fitbit, and aim for 15,000 steps a day.

Personal Information:
I'm originally from Washington, D.C. area and my husband, Warren and I now reside in Stone Ridge, Virignia.

Other Information:
I love to read all of Anthony Williams (Medical Medium) books on health and wellness. Eating right and drinking Celery Juice everyday. I also llike to read Suzanne Somers books on bio-identical hormones. I think she is great and has inspired me to take my health seriously and find a doctor who is equally in tune to bio-identical hormone therapy.
