Here's a photo comparison of our dog when we first adopted her compared to now. Big difference!
This is Panda our fat cat. She was the queen of the house before we adopted "THAT DOG!"
Such a sweet baby.

Still struggling for any type of consistency in my weight!
I've lost weight in the past through Weigh Down Workshop, then gained it back again when I stopped following those principles.
Then we started Spark People-I was tracking every calorie and eating right - and was able to loose most of the weight again. Until I started getting careless and letting the calories creep back up, eating what I wanted, when I wanted, and of course - the results are ...

Then we started Spark People-I was tracking every calorie and eating right - and was able to loose most of the weight again. Until I started getting careless and letting the calories creep back up, eating what I wanted, when I wanted, and of course - the results are predictable.
Then a couple years ago I took up running/walking and again lost weight. This was the best I've ever felt because I was getting fit physically not just losing weight. I've never, ever in my life had a regular exercise that I enjoyed - but my morning runs were actually a part of my routine - for over a year! ...Until life got in the way and I let it slip...all the way back to eating carelessly and no exercise. So of course, back come the pounds. (SIGH)
I'm determined now to stick to counting calories and making smart food choices.
**UPDATE**
I have discovered the way of eating that has changed my life forever! Intermittent Fasting! I had heard bits and pieces about it and my niece lost weight by doing it. Then I found Gin Stephen's book Delay Don't Deny and it has been eye opening and life changing!
I started off with IF'ing around Feb. 8th. I started with a 16 hour fast and an 8 hour eating window. After more reading and research, and listening to Dr. Bert Herring, I changed to fasting for 19 hours and eating for 5. I typically "open my window" (the term for starting your eating time) around 3 pm and "close my window" (stop eating) at 8 pm.
If you had told me that I would only be eating in a 5 hour window every day I would have told you "no way!" I love food too much and look forward to any excuse to eat! I work a desk job and would pretty much start with breakfast and then eat all day long. Most of it was healthy eating too...but it was too much eating.
No more counting calories! THAT alone is such a relief! No more stressing about eat this/don't eat that! No more worries about refraining from office treats etc.I simply eat normal food during my 5 hours and other than that I only drink water and black coffee or green tea.
This has been so freeing for me - I LOVE IT! Not to mention I have lost about 8 lbs so far and my clothes are getting looser!
Intermittent Fasting has so many benefits besides weightloss and is so good for your health! I can't believe how good I feel. It was a little tough when I first started and I still get hungry here and there but it isn't anything I can't handle and the feelings pass. I used to hit a slump in the afternoons where I could hardly stay awake. That is no longer an issue. I feel energetic and clear headed all day long! This is just amazing!
If you are reading this and have not looked into Intermittent Fasting yet - you need to read Gin's book! It's an easy read and will change your way of thinking! I'm just now working through her second book "Feast Without Fear." I'm reading and learning all I can about IF and I just want others that are struggling to know about it so they can experience it for themselves.

Thanks! I hope increasing gradually will help. I also could stop eating earlier, the closer to bedtime I eat the hungrier I get in the morning.
