My Goals:
Of course I want to lose weight..but ultimately because I have a family history of hypertension, heart attack, stroke, diabetes, cancer and alzheimer's disease, I just want to be as healthy as I can be to lower my risk of developing any of these conditions. I'm so serious I have given up antiprespirants... only natural deodorants...which work okay but not as well as I would like lol!
My Program:
Currently: I jog several times a week, for about 2 miles, some days I jog twice. In the morning I jog the streets, in the afternoons I hit the gym with a coworker and I usually cover another mile or two on the treadmill. I am watching what I eat, but I am not actually dieting. Yoga on Thursdays and some Saturdays.
Personal Information:
I'm from Roanoke Rapids NC, but currently reside in Durham, affectionately known as the bull city. This city is great there are tons of trails, bike lanes, and free yoga classes, bustling farmer's markets and festivals!
Other Information:
I know this is weird but the past couple of years I have been addicted to Fantasy novels and Children's novels... I can't get enough of them! I guess its my form of escapism :D
