Introduction Text Well, another year has come and gone. About me: I'm a stay at home mom of two girls, and I substitute teach at their schools. I'm 40. I've been over-weight since before I got married in my mid-20's. I lost down to 145, but I've gained back up to 170 plus (depends on the day). BUT... This is the year of NO EXCUSES. I've got to get back to exercising and get this weight off! Until recently, I cared for my grandmother in my home. She has Alzheimer's and has heart troubles. She kept falling, and I was afraid that she would get hurt worse than a few bruises. I chose a nursing home that was close to the school so I could check on her every day. However, after she had to go to a special facility to get her meds under control, my uncle moved her without my knowledge to a home an hour away. Now, I cannot afford to go see her like I want to. More importantly, my little one (who was only 2 when Gran moved in with us) is missing her terribly and cries knowing that she cannot see her every day. Please pray for us as we deal with this loss. On a better note: I'm an Independent Consultant for a national beauty product company. I am looking forward to having more time to spend on the business. New Year... same goals as last year.... 1) Start exercising again 2) Cook better for all of us... lower the sodium 3) I'd love to meet my goal weight sometime this year

1. cooking better (less fat) 2. eating smaller portions (no seconds) 3. use my Wii to get in my exercise time
