I had something really neat happen to me recently! My gym asked if I would be in their fitness column in our base newspaper (NAS Corpus Christi). I am sooo honored. It really meant a lot to me. ❤️ inspire and be inspired.

Hi Sparkfriends! Welcome!

I’ve been on Sparkpeople for over 9 years now. I'm almost 51 years old. Like many of you, I have been through wildly varying health stages through out my lifetime. I've been average, I've been heavy, and I've been underweight. I've been a size 16. I've been a size 0, and everything in between. I used to be a chain smoker, and also very ill with respiratory issues.

Not anymore. I am now a runner. I am a lifter. I am becoming a rider. I am a 9+ year non smoker.

Today, I would describe myself as a fit athlete. I have a much different body composition from what I had from any other time in my life and I credit it to consistent lifting and fine tuning nutrition.

I share because I want to inspire others to believe they can do anything they put their mind to. It’s never to late to dream a new dream.

My Goals:
Goals for 2019:

*Run the Beach to Bay Marathon Relay in May 2019 as part of a two person team with my BFF. It will be my 10th year to run this race, first year doing 3 legs.
*Aim for 10K steps daily
*Get under 22% Body Fat (A fitness photo shoot will be my personal reward).





My Program:
My Program is to show up every day. It's that simple.

*Lift 5-6X a Week
*Running, Cycling, Rowing and HIIT to supplement Lifting programs
*Log all food and fitness
*Aim to meet daily macros requirements

I use only Jim Stoppani programs and supplements.

    you can make the decision to ""be happy"" each day.
    2. Remember that happiness is contagious....
    Make someone smile, and the good feelings come right back to you.

    3. Be grateful for the little things in life that are free....
    Make a list, and add to it each morning.

    4.Believe that ultimately everything happens for a reason....
    Acceptance leads the way to happiness.
    5. Give away some courage every day!
