On December 3rd, 2011 I will be getting married. My fiance and I for a myriad of reasons need a healthier lifestyles for ourselves and well as for each other. It may be a bit ambitious, but I want to be 163lbs by the big day cause then I would be entering married life as just overweight and not longer obese. I also want to be a good example for my son and if my FH and I decide on having a child, I want a healthier pregnancy this time around.

For the next 90 days we will be doing ChaLean extreme together. I also will be rebooting my C25K program that has been on hiatus for too long.

As it gets warmer, make more trips to the store on foot, which would also save us a lot of gas money as well.

We also live right down the road from some good hiking, so as the weather gets warmer we are going to get the doggie and go for at least a small hike.

I want to start training for hiking the South Sister with my mom in August. It's a VERY ambitious goal for me, but if I work towards it and even if I fall short, I will reach my other goals.

In the end, what I will have, is on my wedding day, I will have a non plus size wedding dress. Even if I don't get down to 163, I will be proud of this and strive for it no matter what. :)

In general just be more active, even if it's walking only 30 mins 5 days a week.


My Program:
My eating is pretty basic, I just mostly try to have ingredients around the house that allow for something quick and healthy. I like to experiment with flavors and also to just enjoy the simple taste of real food. :)




Personal Information:
I am a paraprofessional in a CPA firm and the mother of an adorable 3 year old boy, named Miles. Much of my motivation is to set a good example in the hopes he won't struggle with weight as I have.

I was a very skinny child, and didn't really start getting over weight until middle school, but it didn't really start to become a problem until I was a junior in high school.

To me, the major landmark of my weight problem was when I was 21. Me and my boyfriend at the time had joined a gym and upon weighing myself, I realized that I was 201 lbs. I had never been over 180 as far as I knew.
